My students loved creating the flowers (Based on Eric Carle's book 'Tiny Seed').
First they painted with orange and yellow paint on white paper, and with green and yellow on another paper ( See rhe Hungry Caterpillar picture).
On another white construction paper,students paint tiny dots with markers of different colors.
Finishing the flower: students cut the orange petals, and the green stem and leaves... and it is done!
